More Super Happeh Phun Tyme!
Just an update to new episodes that have been uploaded to youtube. Please subscribe to it and make a comment as to what other games we should play! Name anything and we will do it.
Episode 5 – The Price is Right has 2 parts to it. The second part is more party based with 3 people instead of single player mode.
Episode 6 – Nickelodeon GUTS was by far the worst game we have done so far. I had to speed up the video through half of it and we couldnt even finish the game itself so unfortuantely it turned out pretty bad. LOL!
Episode 7 – Jeopardy! This was probably the most fun we have had up to this point. It is also one of the longest ones coming to 3 different parts. Our intelligence level is tested and the result is…well find out for yourself!
Hatsune Miku LIVE!
Just as the title implies, its a concert and Hatsune Miku is singing on the stage! I enjoy anime quite a bit and Hatsune Miku is a cool concept as a character, but man this is too much. I’m actually a little creeped out by this whole thing… At the same time it’s entertaining to watch and seeing a bunch of lighted up leeks being thrown back and forth with excitement.
I hope I never become a member of the audience in one of these events. I got other important things to do, like watch these videos and laugh.
Back to Reality 3
This is the third installment of Back to Reality podcast. This is the second time for me to be in it since I missed out on the first one.
I felt I was more involved in this one that the “first” one I did. Enjoy BACK TO REALITY

Starcraft Tournament
One of my friends from Japanese class invited me to go join a Starcraft II tourney. He happened to make a poster of the tourney and my face is on it, wonderful…
I have already lost my first match, but since it is a double elimination tourney, I have to lose one more time to be out of the game. My next game is tonight so wish me luck!
Japanese Train Station
By far the most ridiculous thing I’ve seen in awhile. Most likely this stuff happens only in Japan, so much so you could see this and say to yourself “those Japanese people, always doing funny things”. No seriously is this even safe? Anyways, I’m looking forward to crap like this when I’m over there, although if the ride itself is more than 20 minutes it’s not going to be fun.
I’m surprised that the kid was able to deal with all these guys pushing him into the train without any agonizing pain, or even hear people already in the train yelling and cussing. Crap like this would not go as smoothly here or anywhere else in the world.
I love it
Japanese Discipline
A video my friend found and showed me because it involved those crazy Japanese people. I didn’t know what I was expecting that involved ‘precision’. I was thinking somewhere between the lines of shooting guns.
My thoughts were wrong, it’s pretty sweet nonetheless. Unfortunately, part of the video should be skipped when they present each individual by their name which starts around 2:45 and ends at 4:05.
If Anime was Real
There have been posts and videos about anime and what it would look like if it was real. We all know that it would be an ugly sight to see, which is the sad truth. This takes it onto a different approach. Wasn’t the best video and don’t expect it to be the funniest thing out there.
Bakemonogatari
Story 7.0/10 - Everyone has problems may it be physical or supernatural. The story centers on Koyomi Araragi, a third year high school student who has recently survived a vampire attack, and finds himself mixed up with all kinds of apparitions; gods, ghosts, mythological beasts, and spirits. The series tends to introduce only one new heroine per chapter, each involved with a different “apparition”. Most of them have an item which symbolises their spectres, such as Hitagi’s stapler – the claw of a crab, Mayoi’s back pack – the shell of a snail. The events of the previous chapters play an important role in the subsequent ones. The series primarily focuses on conversations between characters and it contains a fair number of parodies of other series. What does it all mean? Well it felt rushed and original. Something like The Simpsons, each episode follows a short story and has no relevance to the previous episode. Perhaps that is a tad overkill as each episode has some sort of involvement from the last, but kept at a minimum.
Animation 9.5/10 - This show is known for its animation. Not gonna lie, it’s awesome. It tries to be simple yet complicated keeping the visuals beautiful without looking too cheap. What got me off, which had too much of it unfortunately are these brightly, random, annoying pauses that have somewhat important text’s that are so short, you miss out on what it’s saying 80% of the time. Other than that, the fights were top notch, intense, bloody, and gory. Loved the fight scenes, but only a few occurred.
Characters 7.0/10 - Each arc introduces a new character, but my main problem was that characters from previous arc are not featured enough, they appear moderately in the next arc but afterwards their appearances are just here and there and it leaves you wanting more. Each heroine is different from the last which keeps the anime fresh. One character I didn’t like particularly was Hitagi Senjogahara. She called herself a tsundere and always speaks in an abusive style. At the end of Mayoi Snail, she admits that she loves Koyomi, and subsequently enters into a relationship with him. This was all fine and dandy, but she was too stuck-up for me to enjoy her personality. She was cute and felt intelligent, but wasn’t enough to overcome her negative attitude in the show.
Overall 7/10 - The problems each character had kept me wanted more, the problem was the annoying pauses mentioned before that drew away from the show. If they hadn’t integrated that into the show, it would be one of my favorite series. Some of the episodes felt slow, such as, non-stop talking that doesn’t go anywhere. It had humor that gave a ‘chuckle’ here and there, a few twists that made me go ‘oh?’, and fight scenes that go ‘damn’. Is it worth checking into? It’s hard to say, but I’ll give some advice. Watch the first 2 episodes and if you don’t like it, chances are it’s not worth watching any more.
Black Rock Shooter Game
No information is given about the release date or what console it’s going to be on, but I do have an idea…
Most likely it will either be on the PSP or the DS. Everyone is hoping for it to be on the PS3, but chances are so low I wouldn’t even consider it. Also to the folks who live in America, I can surely predict it’s only going to be released in Japan.
There you have it people, awesome news only to be disappointed. Of course I could be wrong and I really hope I am. I REALLY do.
Crystal Castles Concert
On August 9th 2010, Crystal Castles came to the Ogden Theatre in Denver. We got there pretty early as we both waltzed right in with no line in sight. It was fairly empty when we first walked in. Destructo was there and it sounded pretty good. It’s unfortunate that he had a small crowd and the fact no one was in the ‘zone’ to go insane so early in the evening. Though he was up on the stage for 2 hours and my friend and I were wondering when he was going to get off. Their is so much one person can handle from Destructo especially when they are eagerly waiting for the main event. I don’t remember the next DJ’s name when he came up after Destructo, but the music was on par. Everyone was in the mood by then and of course the crowd was bigger.
Oddly Crystal Castles was next. I was expecting them to be the last event of the concert. After the last DJ, it took 20-25 minutes to set up the stage for Crystal Castles.
When it began, it was epic. Definitely had punk feel to it as the lead singer would be rolling on the ground and be carried by the audience multiple times.
Thanks to my friend who not only introduced me to them, but took me to an awesome show!
Here is a music video of Celestica, one of my favorite songs done by Crystal Castles.
Hatsune Miku Append
I saw a new figure of Hatsune Miku and I had no idea where exactly where it was from. By chance I ended up finding out by accident searching for a video on youtube. The latest version Vocaloid, Hatsune Miku Append ver is not just a figurine but a new software pack. An update over the Vocaloid 2, released by Cryptron Future Media INC, named “MIKU APPEND” that was released on April 30th of this year.
This software pack, give the Hatsune Miku, the face of the vocaloid line, more emotions like being happy, sad, dark or other basic emotions. With this, the feel of Miku’s sound will be further improved, and may sooth the critics main complain of the sound being too machine like.
One more pic to finish the job
I haven’t found any information on the figure if you wanted it in your home. As far as I know, it’s so fresh, pre-orders are yet to be announced. I will keep an eye out for a price and release date!

Angel Beats!
Story 10/10 -Similar to Bleach, the story is about these kids who are dead. They wake up to a world where they are thinking that fighting the only way out because if they don’t, they will ‘disappear’. While there is much detail to be told, I don’t want to spoil the whole show. What I can tell you is that it was like a drug. I ended up watching the whole series (13 episodes) in two days, most of which was because I had to wait for my roommate to get home from work. What’s compelling about the show is the amount of remorse the show gives towards the cast. They all have a story that makes you go “damn that sucks” since they are all depressing. You have a feel for all the people, and since the show doesn’t tell the background story of everyone it makes you ask yourself “I wonder what regret he/she has”. Not only that, you only get to find out how one of them died in the real world. I’m pretty much saying that it will keep you intrigued, leaving questions left unanswered, hoping your uneasiness goes away. I will also add that it doesn’t seem to make sense in the beginning, but don’t fret, it all comes together.
Animation 10/10 – This is by far the most beautiful and detailed series I’ve ever seen. It’s amazing that this is a series and not a movie because the quality is the same. The things I noticed differently from almost any other anime out as of now is the eyes. The color is like a shade from light to dark and it’s just gorgeous. The hair is also different, the color goes from light to dark in a very suttle way, unlike having white streaks on the edges of their hair. The CGI is well done as well. You pretty much have to see for yourself. It’s clear they had the funds to make the show and didn’t hesitate to spend it. Smooth, soft, colorful, I can’t describe it well enough to make it sound as good as it is.
Characters 10/10 – The cast and how they were portrayed was well done. Now I liked and disliked the idea of the amount of detail was left out for most of the characters. It left some sort of mystery about them. I think this matches well with the concept of the whole show. What the hell is going on kind of thing. They were all fighting for what they believed in, but they didn’t know if it was the right thing to do. Like I mentioned before the lack of information left me wanting to watch more in hopes I do get to know the characters story and while they didn’t leave much of anything except for Ontonashi (the protagonist), and maybe some detail about Kanade, Yurripe, and Hinata, I think it was enough. Now people might complain that it was a bad move on the producers of the show to leave out so much detail, but I don’t think it was. We become spoiled and feel we are supposed to be given information about everything so that we can connect to the character more properly in the show. It would’ve been too obvious; “oh, they told the story of the main character and now we are going to learn about the others”, but it doesn’t and I respect that. Everyone is in this “purgatory” world because they died unsatisfied and full of regret, so we already know that it was a depressing death, isn’t that enough information? There isn’t a need to get into everyone’s life story. I know I’m ranting, but I think this is an important concept. Other than that, I enjoyed the cast and their behavior, it felt real and not over-the-top ridiculous.
Overall 10/10 – It’s ignorant to give a show a perfect score because there is always room for corrections, but I’m doing it anyway. No doubt I enjoyed the show, the story, characters, and animation with complete satisfaction. It has been awhile since I finished a series so quickly (the last was twelve kingdoms a year ago). I must also add that I enjoyed the humor, I laughed, chuckled and was amused by it all. It takes effort to make a serious show, where these kids died, pissed off, rebelling and add humor, BUT not too much, just the right amount. Last but not least is how the show steered from one situation to another was brilliant. For example, Ontonashi had a plan to help his friends, so he picked Yui. He successfully sent her away and it felt as though the rest of the show was about him sending his friends away, but it didn’t work that way. There were other times where this happened and completely changes towards a different direction.
Japanese Sex Toys
Japan is widely known for it’s unique and unusual culture of sex. It’s so unusual that Japan is considered the most perverted country in the world. Now I would normally rant about the justification of this statement as opinion based or actual fact, but I’ll leave that up to you.
This is about one particular company that makes special “toys” for guys, called Tenga. Their moto goes
No baggage
No Headaches
No String Attached
[think of it as dating without the drama]
This is from the official American Tenga distribution website where the products innovated in Japan can be easily purchased in America rather than buying them over in Japan. It seems they are targeting single guys and trying to make them feeling better by saying “your better than those other guys who have to deal with a significant other”.
“TENGA products are engineered to produce a potent, but controllable, sucking sensation without motors, pumps, or somebody that just might not be in the mood. TENGA’s don’t get tired. They don’t get headaches or PMS, and they don’t stop working if a storm knocks your electricity out. With a TENGA in hand, YOU control the experience – when, where, and how.”
The best part is how they boast in how awesome their products are. Using the latest technology and scientifically tested to produce the best sexual sensation-to replicate actual sex, Tenga does it all! The tutorial videos do seem to show some justice to what they say. When you see the tenga at work, literally doing work on your badongadonk, it looks rather painful or if your into the sadistic stuff, the most amazing thing to go inside your dingle-ling. They do have more than just one type of Tenga. In-fact theirs a bunch of different ones..
- Tenga Black Deep Throat Cup

- Tenga Black Rolling Head Cup
- Tenga Egg Lotion
- Tenga Eggs (Season 1 and 2)
- Tenga Fliphole
- Tenga Fliplite – Melty White & Solid Black
- Tenga Hole Warmer
- Tenga Red Air Cushion Cup
- Tenga Red Deep Throat Cup
- Tenga Red Double Hole Cup
- Tenga Red Rolling Head Cup
- Tenga Red Soft Tube Cup
- Tenga White Air Cushion Cup
- Tenga White Deep Throat Cup
- Tenga White Soft Tube Cup
Each supposed to intimidate the best possible feeling of sex in different ways, for example the Tenga Red Air Cushion Cup is supposed to feel of one acting in missionary position. Each have their own chart of arousal and a very imaginative diagram of how its supposed to work. I would put up the rest of the other Tenga products information up, but you get the point.
The Hole and Lite versions come with lube and here are the descriptions of each.
MILD : Wrap yourself in a gentle touch. Let it envelope you in warmth and kindness.
REAL : Relish the feel of superb moisture for a realistic experience. For those who want it real!
WILD : Stimulation explosion! Enjoy every single inch with Tenga Hole Lotion Wild! Tenga Hole Lotion is a watery liquid
One interesting fact about the Tenga products is that some have a number of uses before it should be discarded. The Tenga Egg is a portable version of the series, small and compact, but can only be used once per egg. The Tenga FlipHole and Tenga Fliplite (smaller version of the hole) was constructed to be cleaned after use so it can be used multiple times. Now I saw some sources say that it should be used 50x or so then thrown away, but I don’t see why it needs to be thrown out at all if it can be cleaned the same every time.
I haven’t personally used this myself, nor will I ever (I think), but it’s interesting all-together. A couple years back I browsed the site and they were in need of testers. I actually filled the online application because of these reasons.
1)Get paid to feel good (unless it’s a failed product that might cut your special part off)
2) Go to Japan for free as they pay for everything, housing, tickets, etc.
3) I’m single
I never got a call back, but perhaps it was for the best. It makes me wonder what kind of tests they would’ve done on people….(shutters). Anyways, here are some videos
Yukata!
Went to an Asian store called East West Imports a couple weeks back with a friend. I bought some Bruce Lee shoes and my friend tried some yukata’s. I know some people who work there and am currently trying to become an employee since one of them is leaving for New York. This would be a perfect opportunity because most of the customers and the owner are Japanese and would aid my Japanese skills.
Learned some facts about yukata’s that are worn in Japan. If I can remember correctly, married women usually don’t wear them in public, but if they do it’s apparent that she’s married. Less colorful and looks “older”. As for women who aren’t married and are looking for that special someone wear bright and colorful yukata’s and the way the bow in the back differs between married and single.
Paco
The Japanese have constructed a 9 x 9 x 9 foot square box that has all the necessary equipment to well…live. it costs 6,300,000 yen… or 70,000 US dollars. I personally wouldn’t mind living in something compact and efficient, but I am a person of having people come over to hang. I dont think this would suffice.

The roof can be lifted and acts as a window… I think.
\
This isn’t the bed, but a place to rest since theirs nothing else to do..

Nice little compact dinning room/sitting area.

Sitting in action. Cant tell how hard the surface is, but I hope its soft.

Nice little bathroom

Shower in action.

Sleeping area. Kinda claustrophobic to me, but what can you do.
Black Rock Shooter
Black Rock Shooter has been brought to life as a PVC figure! She’s holding a huge Rock Cannon, in a pose that says “don’t mess with me!” Her flowing hair and jacket, as well as her weapon and beautiful stand have all been carefully sculpted, all the details are magnificent.
Who is Black Rock Shooter? Ryo, who is a song writer and composer created a song and music video called Black Rock Shooter and was sang by Hatsune Miku using Vocaloid… did that answer your question? Vocaloid is a singing synthesizer application software developed by the Yamaha Corporation that enables users to synthesize singing by just typing in lyrics and melody. It all makes sense now right?
![black_rock_shooter[1] black_rock_shooter[1]](http://xgonda.files.wordpress.com/2009/09/black_rock_shooter1.jpg?w=590)

I feel as though the back is missing something…

I haven’t seen a PVC figure with a base that is as good as this. Some of the figurines I’ve seen with bases felt unneeded or “in the way” but this is a whole different story.

Blocks of life
Pictures can be beautiful and profound. This isn’t a picture, but a video of the same aspect. Absolute beauty. It feels as though its speaking to me…
Aquatic Language
I watched BLAME!today and it was….. alright? The 37 minute movie had animation that was wonderful, amazing, and fluid. The problem was that it made no sense. Kind of liked it for that reason, but at the same time I really couldn’t get into it as much as I hoped for. In the process, I encountered a different anime.
This “less than 10 minute” movie leaves your mind full and compelled. It doesn’t need to be longer, though some would agree longer would be nice, but that’s just being greedy.
2-D in Real Life
This is a story about a man named Nisan. He’s your average everyday man with everyday needs. He has a job and lives at home with his beloved for the past 3 years. The two are inseparable, theirs no way either one of them are going to leave each other for any reason no matter what. Why do I say that? Well let’s just say it’s intuition.

His loves name is Nemutan; a 2-D anime character from an adult rated PC game Da Capo plastered onto a pillow sheet. This 70$ love is as real as real can be perceived as. “She’s great for falling asleep with on an office chair.” He knows it’s odd for an 37 year old balding man to be in love with a 2-D character, but he can’t imagine his life without Nemutan. “When I die, I want to be buried with her in my arms.”
They take pictures of themselves underneath the cherry blossoms, frolick like children on merry-go-rounds and eat noodles at restaurants. After being three years together he proudly admits, “I’ve experienced so many amazing things because of her,” Nisan told me, rubbing Nemutan’s leg warmly. “She has really changed my life.”
Now this may sound odd to most of us, but this is more normal than you think. Nisan is part of a thriving subculture of men and women in Japan who indulge in real relationships with imaginary characters. They are called 2-D lovers, a form of an otaku culture — the obsessive fandom that has surrounded anime, manga and video games. Some 2-D lovers go to work, pay rent, hang out with friends. Unlike most otaku though, they have real romantic feelings for their toys. The less extreme might have a hidden collection of figurines based on anime characters that they go on “dates” with during off hours. A more serious 2-D lover, like Nisan, actually believes that a lumpy pillow with a drawing of a prepubescent anime character on it is his girlfriend.
Yogurting Dance
I was reading someones youtube comment about the dancing to the intro of the Yogurting game and I thought to myself, “that’s the stupidest things to do.”
So I went and did it anyway. Here’s two attempts of embarrassment. Enjoy!
PS: Don’t try this at home!
$750,000 Computer
Well its a little more than $750,000, its exactly $751,067. The computer is called “Jupiter” where it has a platinum case studied with diamonds.
Jupiters little brother, “Mars” has a gold case also studied with diamonds but costs only $563,063. (both only sold in Japan
)

Would match well with my diamond toilet.
Rubberduckzilla
I never was a fan of water when I was a kid and I still don’t like it very much today. Perhaps this is my answer to my problems.
