Black Rock Shooter Gold Saw
Black Rock Shooter seems to be everywhere these days. A new figurine Black★Gold Saw, is part of the supporting cast of the OVA series Black★Rock Shooter. Her relevance to the plot is still unclear, and her origins, along with her human counterpart, have not been disclosed. It is presumed that in the beginning of the OVA, she fights Black★Rock Shooter and is victorious, giving Black★Rock Shooter her scars. It is unknown if she is an “other self” at all, and if she is, whom she is one for and how she relates to Black★Rock Shooter or Kuroi Mato. Her possible human counterpart in the real world was sitting on the chair of the train at the beginning, but this is unclear as the hairstyle is very common and the eye color is difficult to tell.

Black★Gold Saw is a girl with red eyes and long black hair. A red flame shoots out from her right eye. She has a pair of curved black horns whose color turns to red as it reaches the tip. Like Dead Master, Black★Gold Saw also has skeletal claws. Her outfit is similar to Black★Rock Shooter except for the design of her jacket and her bikini top; her jacket extends into a worn-out cape which is dyed red at the end.
Like all of the “other selves”, her eyes have a circular pattern in them. Her weapon of choice is a large black sword with a long handle and a curved hilt shaped like a pointing-down crescent.
Samurai Champloo Scratch
It’s sometimes hard to find a good AMV these days. Most of the time the one’s I do enjoy are usually found through other people. An anime fan told me about this AMV and I’ll admit, it’s badass. I am a fan of Linkin Park, though that is fading away rather quickly, but I’ll always remember a few of their songs. This AMV in particular matches perfectly with the beat of the song. Subtle and not too ridiculous to where the viewer can’t tell what is going on half the time. Overall, great AMV; I hope to find some more in the future.
Good work Suckafish80!
Black Rock Shooter Dead Master
New to the vocaloid project, comes Dead Master. I found her while searching for new Black Rock Shooter figures and fell in love with her instantly. There’s not much detail about her other than what is seen on the figure itself. What we do know is that her real name is Takanashi Yomi.
She is a girl with wavy black hair and straight bangs, and neon green eyes.
Her outfit is similar to a simple Gothic lolita costume. She wears a black dress and a black bolero; her dress extends down to her thighs and is accented with a white ribbon attached to her waist. Dead Master also wears a pair of leggings and a pair of black pumps. She wears a pair of black gauntlets on each hand. On her head is a pair of long horns which resemble a pair of vertebrae with each tip made out of three tips joined at the end. Dead Master also has a pair of wings which sit low on her back, looking like a thick zigzag.
Her weapon of choice is a large scythe with an unusually-shaped blade and a long handle with vertebra-like detail.
Most of the time she is accompanied by two skulls, each with glowing cavities.
Dead Master is the primary antagonist in the OVA anime series Black★Rock Shooter. In the early stages of the animation project it was presumed that she was Black★Rock Shooter’s sister, but is more accurately played as Black Rock Shooter’s best friend before she turned into Dead Master.
Figure is currently set for Pre-orders! Releases November 2010!
Anime Drawing
This was something I drew when I was bored and lonely. It is still not complete, but I’ve already spent 20 or so hours on it so far. I am very proud of this and will hopefully finish it and frame it on a wall!
A good side story to this drawing – It was 2 AM in the morning. I was by myself all day since everyone was either out working or out of state for vacation. I was listening to ambient techno, very soothing and relaxing music until I had heard the doorbell. I was surprised to see a police officer on the other side and wondered what could possibly bring him to my place.
Police officer – “What are you up to?”
Me – “Im drawing actually”
Police Officer – “Really? Although I do believe you because I didn’t hear anything for awhile, I came to tell you to turn down whatever noise you were creating because we recieved a noise complaint on this house.”
Me – “That’s really weird, haha, I guess I’ll turn down my pencil”
We both laughed and he walked away.
The neighbors really disliked us for some unknown reason, so all of it didn’t surprise me.
Black Rock Shooter
Black Rock Shooter has been brought to life as a PVC figure! She’s holding a huge Rock Cannon, in a pose that says “don’t mess with me!” Her flowing hair and jacket, as well as her weapon and beautiful stand have all been carefully sculpted, all the details are magnificent.
Who is Black Rock Shooter? Ryo, who is a song writer and composer created a song and music video called Black Rock Shooter and was sang by Hatsune Miku using Vocaloid… did that answer your question? Vocaloid is a singing synthesizer application software developed by the Yamaha Corporation that enables users to synthesize singing by just typing in lyrics and melody. It all makes sense now right?

I feel as though the back is missing something…

I haven’t seen a PVC figure with a base that is as good as this. Some of the figurines I’ve seen with bases felt unneeded or “in the way” but this is a whole different story.

2-D in Real Life
This is a story about a man named Nisan. He’s your average everyday man with everyday needs. He has a job and lives at home with his beloved for the past 3 years. The two are inseparable, theirs no way either one of them are going to leave each other for any reason no matter what. Why do I say that? Well let’s just say it’s intuition.

His loves name is Nemutan; a 2-D anime character from an adult rated PC game Da Capo plastered onto a pillow sheet. This 70$ love is as real as real can be perceived as. “She’s great for falling asleep with on an office chair.” He knows it’s odd for an 37 year old balding man to be in love with a 2-D character, but he can’t imagine his life without Nemutan. “When I die, I want to be buried with her in my arms.”
They take pictures of themselves underneath the cherry blossoms, frolick like children on merry-go-rounds and eat noodles at restaurants. After being three years together he proudly admits, “I’ve experienced so many amazing things because of her,” Nisan told me, rubbing Nemutan’s leg warmly. “She has really changed my life.”
Now this may sound odd to most of us, but this is more normal than you think. Nisan is part of a thriving subculture of men and women in Japan who indulge in real relationships with imaginary characters. They are called 2-D lovers, a form of an otaku culture — the obsessive fandom that has surrounded anime, manga and video games. Some 2-D lovers go to work, pay rent, hang out with friends. Unlike most otaku though, they have real romantic feelings for their toys. The less extreme might have a hidden collection of figurines based on anime characters that they go on “dates” with during off hours. A more serious 2-D lover, like Nisan, actually believes that a lumpy pillow with a drawing of a prepubescent anime character on it is his girlfriend.
Hatsune Miku VN02
I never thought their would be a day where I would look at plastic figures and go “I really want that!” I mean seriously, it seems so odd to me because of the fact I grew up making fun of barbie dolls. After all that harassment towards those plastic dolls, I have to succumb to the beautiful pose they possess. One thing to keep in mind, this is a whole new ball game compared to dolls, especially Barbies.
This here is the Hatsune Miku VN02 version. It’s basically a modded; beefed up Hatsune Miku. It’s beautiful and surprisingly “better” than the original. Of course this one is more serious, hardcore, and to the point. This is something worth getting and definitely worth looking at.
Figure ranges from $150-$300, well worth the monies.

The original Hatsune Miku, this is just one of the many figures of her. Others may be better, others could make your eyes bleed.
As you can see, their are major differences, all for the better. Absolute beauty.
Check out Black Rock Shooter and Dead Master as well as they are part of the series of Vocaloid, and are worth looking into!

Used Panties

You’d think that buying used underwear would be cheap right? What if the underwear was used by a cute high school girl? Yes, the Japanese have stalls where you can actually buy ”fresh” pre-worn high school girls underwear. They include the picture of the girl who wore the underwear to show that it wasn’t a chubby or ugly girl. It could also show just how “fresh” these girls are.
These go for 1,900 yen, or $19. Would you buy one, or at least consider it?

Lolita Complex
Its been on my mind for some time now and has been quite bothersome . It started when I saw a video that researched the growing culture of the Lolita Complex in Japan. But before I continue, what is Lolita Complex?
Lolita complex in short is Lolicon. Japanese describe it as an attraction to young girls. In other areas, its refereed to a story of under-aged childlike female characters that are depicted in an erotic manner. For example, the western’s definition of Lolicon refers to anime or manga that contains sexual or erotic portrayals of prebuscent or childlike characters.
So, what is the difference between pedophilia and Lolita? Theirs no direct answer for that. It’s all a matter of opinion. All that we know is that lolita refers to ”the interest in young girls and only girls”, while their is a term for an interest in young boys (shotacon), it really doesn’t differentiate the meaning between the two words. I hate to say it, but their really doesn’t seem to be any difference at all!
This is where I realized something,
Why was it that almost all the anime shows have characters that are in high school, look young, have high pitch voices, over-exaggerated body proportions to the point of perfection, and a personality of a 10 year old? One answer, Lolita Complex. It doesn’t end there. In the real world, actual girls as young as 10 years old are becoming idols by wearing bikinis and posing in somewhat awkward positions. These are sold in DVD’s and magazines! The video below will tell everything for you.
Is it wrong to like young girls? Does it lead to rape incidents? So many questions, so little answers.
Anime eyes
I came across a site that makes custom contact lenses appear similar to those from Naruto and Code Geass. Very cool idea for those who have boring ring of muscle fibers located behind the cornea and in front of the lens, which I do (I am talking about the iris btw). Mine are dark brown and could use some flare. If your interested in these lenses, then just be aware the price. We are talking $100 to $200 for one contact. BUT before you can spend the $400, you will need an eye exam to measure the size of your iris, sight visibility, and know if it’s ok for your eyes to wear such lenses.
Too much work and money for me, but maybe someday. See more lenses HERE

Guys are… pretty?
I’ll be honest and say that I have no idea how to write this, but I do have a video to help me describe whats exactly going on.
What we have here is a Japanese game that involves guys dressing up as girls, to make them as attractive as possible. The prettier, sexier, and the more convincing the better. Looking more in depth, the person holding a random sign is the “girls” girlfriend or wife. Also, they show an original picture of what the guy looks like in the real world. A number of judges rate the “girl” from 1 to 5 (5 being the highest). From what I’ve seen, some of these guys can really pull it off and it’s quite scary how much they can look like a woman.
What bothers me the most is that the host keeps checking the crotch area. Talk about awkward.
You turn me on when you look at me
Japan is considered the #1 most perverted country in the world. They have love hotels, hentai, Comiket Eroge, Tenga, etc. Without a doubt, this country produces many different and unique methods to be ”turned on.” With that, turns out there is a Japanese company called Avex that has been releasing a series of DVD’s that teaches men to be more confident. How? Simply by having 50 different women stare right into your eyes for an hour and a half. Well that’s the reason we are given, but nowadays its been used for another reason. Men and possibly women find this erotic, similar to porn, but the only difference is that these women are just plain staring back at you, right in the eye, in a sort of glowering manner, and not the slightest touch of clothing is removed.
“I love it when you stare at me for 96 minutes.” *blush*
What if Anime Girls Were Real…
There’s a new type of business aimed at Otaku who love 2D girls but can’t stand the face of real girls. So the Japanese came up with Satsueikai (photo session) of hybrid models called “Anigao” meaning “anime face”. Anigao Girls offer you the exciting chance to pay a measly 10,000 yen (roughly $85) to take photos of an Anigao Girl for one whole hour. The session is 1×1 and you get to choose what costume you want her to wear. It costs 1,000 yen ($8.55) per extra costume and if you bring your own costume for her to wear then its going to cost you an extra 1,500 yen ($12.50). If you want her to wear a bikini then its an extra 2,500 yen ($21.37) Even for a person like me who frickin’ loves anime, this as a little creepy.
Up close and personal with an Anigao Girl at the bowling alley.
